Early Childhood Education Film

As part of The State of Education in Nebraska series, NET2 television recently broadcast a feature film on early childhood education titled: "Ready for Kindergarten."  Early childhood programs in four Nebraska communities were in featured in the film.  Programs highlighted in the film included those Crete, Lexington (Early Learning Academy), Educare in Lincoln and Franklin Elementary in Omaha.

The premiere broadcast of the film was on Thursday, February 20 at 8:00 p.m.  The film is now available for viewing on the NET2 website (http://nelovesps.org/) and the ELA homepage

Carla Gardner, teacher at the Early Learning Academy, and Karla Andazola, parent of a child enrolled at ELA, appear in the film.
