Band Takes Superior

The Lexington High School Marching Band has just concluded a very successful season by finishing second in Class A at the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association Marching Festival in Lincoln Nebraska.  The band earned superior ratings at all competitions this year and they scored their highest point total in the history of the school.  The band also took first place in the area of overall show General Effect and they also took first in color guard and drumline.  The band consists of 118 students and is currently getting ready for pep band, concert band, jazz band and winter drumline.
