C.B.I. Family Christmas Tree

December 20, 2011

The Lexington High School C.B.I. (Special Education) class recently took a field trip to Hines Pines east of Cozad. During their trip they were able to interact with the kittens and the Irish Wolfhounds. They also learned how to make a Christmas wreath.  Lastly, students had the opportunity to pick out and cut down their own Christmas tree for the classroom. Students learned the importance of Christmas through Christmas activities like this along with decorating their tree and wrapping presents. As Clark Griswald would say, "The most enduring traditions of the season are best enjoyed in the warm embrace of kith and kin. Thith tree is a thymbol of the thspirit of the C.B.I. family Chrithmath."
