Finish Strong in 2012

This is the time of the year when students need to be finish very strong in their classes.  The first semester ends on Thursday, December 20 2012.   Students that make sure that they have done their very best in their classes will have higher grades and complete all their credits for graduation.  Many students have raised their grades in a very positive fashion in the last two weeks of the semester.

Here are some things that a student and a parent can do that will help them to finish the semester with their very best grades.

1.   Review all your grades in Power School.  Make sure you have turned in all your assignments.

2.   Talk to your teachers if you need any help completing your studies or studying for a test.

3.    Talk to your school counselor if you need more help.  Our counselors help students according to their last name.  Mrs. McKeone A-Go, Mrs. Hoyt

Gp-Pd, Mr. Davis Pe-Z.

4.   We are offering an after school program that any student can go to get help with their schoolwork.  The program meets in Mrs. Ritta's classroom (Room 100) Monday through Thursday from 3:30-4:30 PM.  The student needs to simply show up in Mrs. Ritta's classroom to be part of this program.

We wish you the very best as you finish up your schoolwork for this semester.  We want to wish you and your family Merry Christmas from the Lexington High School Counseling Staff.
