Ms. Klein's Science Classes

April 2, 2014

The school year is quickly coming to the end.

In chemistry, students are finishing up the year by learning about VSEPR,  phase change, molarity, and acid/base reactions.  Honor's chemistry has two major projects left.  They will be reading Napoleon's Buttons:  17 Molecules That Changed the World to finish up the school year.  They will also make an iMovie about a famous chemist to share with their classmates.

Applied science is studying about genetics.  Punnett squares are a challenging activity many students have mastered.  We are also beginning our study of speciation and evolution. We will end the quarter with learning about the basics of ecology.

Now is the time for all students to work hard and finish the year strong!
