Recycle-Bowl Competition

November 13, 2013

The Recycling Club at Lexington High School has spent the last 3 weeks competing in the Recycle Bowl.  A competition put on by Keep Lexington Beautiful, Lexington schools are fighting for the title of "Greenest Building".  Whichever building can recycle the most material used within the school, takes home this prestigious title.  So far, the high school has recycled 565 pounds of paper, plastic, and aluminum.  We hope that all staff members and students are doing what they can in order to color their building green.
