Supporting the Students

Being able to support students outside of the classroom plays a factor in the development of their educational experience. Not only should students know that I am there for them in the classroom, students should know that I will be there to cheer them on in their extracurricular activities. I cannot just support the kids I coach in football, powerlifting, and baseball. All of my students need to know that I want them to be successful in everything that they enjoy doing. The support I show reflects on how well they do in the classroom. Understanding the needs of the students is not possible without seeing them do something they love. As a powerlifting coach it gives me an opportunity to be with the students and gives me the opportunity to educate them further. I look forward to developing students’ skills inside the classroom and outside!
