Beginning Strength & Conditioning

The first semester of Beginning Strength and Conditioning has been all about becoming a healthy Minuteman/Minutemaid.  The students have been participating in the weight room, gym activities and health days.  Some examples of activities in the weight room are squat, hip hinge and hurdle mobility.  In the gym students are working on their running form and becoming better movers.  We have also played some games to work on leadership, sportsmanship and development of overall game play. Health topics covered include the Minuteman/Minutemaid healthy body rules and mental health.
