Foods I

Students in Mrs. Gydesen's Foods I class are ready to get into the kitchens!  Kitchen safety has been explored as well as learning where all the kitchen equipment is located at and how to start the ovens and timers.  Sanitation is stressed so students understand the importance of having a clean environment to work in as well as making sure hands and equipment are clean.  This week students are learning equivalents, abbreviations and kitchen math.  Next week they will hit the kitchens to make some delicious pancakes.
