Science with Mr. Neujahr

In Applied Science CT class the students have been digging deep into the Scientific Method.  We started the year by looking at the steps of the Scientific Method and have been getting their hands dirty testing out the process.  Students first took a look at water adhesion by testing to see how many drops of water can fit onto a penny.  After forming a hypothesis and completing an experiment, the students organized their data into graphs to analyze the results.  We are currently practicing the Scientific Method by looking at the pulling power of Bess Beetles compared to the mass of each beetle.  While most were a little nervous to get hands-on with these large beetles, the majority now are excited to work with their new friends each day!
