Slope-Intercept Stained Glass Windows

January 27, 2017

Mrs. Vrbka’s Algebra IA classes have been working on a unit that involves graphing lines.  They have learned about slope and using the slope-intercept form of a line to graph different equations.  One activity the students had to complete was to create a stained glass window using the slope-intercept form.  Students were given equations of lines that they needed to graph.  After graphing all of the lines, the students were to color each separate section that their lines created.  After coloring each section, they should have gotten an image that looked like a stained glass window.
