8th Grade Reading

April 3, 2019

In 8th grade science on the Liberty team, we have just finished with an overview of Newton's 3 laws.  Next week the students will be designing and creating their own lander and rover for a mission to Mars.  This project will allow the students to explain Newton's third law, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.  They will be exploring how to overcome forces of gravity with friction to safely land and deploy a rover, just like scientists and engineers face in the real world when exploring our solar system.
