American Red Cross Blood Donor Program

November 6, 2018

Lexington Middle School students will soon have the chance to help save lives and demonstrate their leadership skills through the American Red Cross Future Blood Donor program!

This program teaches middle school students about the function of blood in our bodies, as well as the importance of blood donation. Students will take part in a Future Blood Donor educational presentation and will receive a letter requesting parents, family members, and other adults donate blood on their behalf at our school’s upcoming blood drive.

Donors can make their appointments online or by downloading the Red Cross Blood Donor App.

In order for this program to be a success, we need your help! Please join us for our Future Blood Donor blood drive on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Student Lounge.

Each student who recruits at least one person to come out to donate at the blood drive will be recognized and receive a fun appreciation item from the Red Cross.

We want our students to know how important their impact on the community can be. This experience will be a fun way to inspire our students to get involved in a service project, and the best part is knowing that they are helping save lives!
