Mr. Lara's Geography Class

February 7, 2017

In our 6 th grade classes, we have been busy with a number of things. We have just finished our National History Night projects. Our students worked on a fake Facebook profile page on a person who made a historic achievement. We are also currently learning about Japan. We have looked at a variety of topics, such as: the problems with population density, mechanical garages, customs, sports, and the difference between Japanese and American homes. To make this chapter more exciting we are corresponding with an American student who is studying abroad in Japan. It definitely has made our chapter much more exciting!
