"Every job is a self-portrait of the person who did it. Autograph your work with excellence." - Author Unknown

Producing work we are proud of is important because it establishes a habit of doing our best - not just doing work that is "good enough."  How will we ever know how great we could be if we are happy with being "good enough"?

"Good enough" is using other people's ideas instead of our own, making excuses, illegibly working out and solving math problems, turning in homework late, breezing into the classroomstenberg after the bell.

Being "great" is about being proud of what we've accomplished, having the strength of character to be honest about our efforts, managing our time well enough to give an assignment the time it requires, being self-motivated, and learning to think for ourselves.

The next time you type your name on your document or project, take a minute to determine if you are proud to be putting your autograph on that work.  Does your work truly reflect the person you are?
