Winter Is Coming

Winter is coming, so we need to know how to dress extra warm for School in this time of the year. Prepare your child for the cold weather following these advices:

  • Wear a pair of socks or maybe two pairs if it is extremely cold.
  • Wear a hat. Most of your body heat escapes through your head, so if you wear a hat, this body heat stays close to your body. Remember do not wear it once you are inside the school.
  • Be sure to layer your clothes. Wear a long sleeved shirt under a short sleeves shirt/sweater/sweatshirt.
  • Tuck your shirt in and wear a belt to balance out the look. By tucking your shirt in, you won't feel any drafts on your stomach. You will feel like you are sort of enclosed in your clothes.
  • Don't use short sleeves or short pants, wear long sleeves!
  • Use gloves and a scarf to keep your hands warm and cozy.

Use this advice and you will be more than ready for the cold!
