37 LHS Seniors Explore Opportunities at UNK Health Career Fair

Thirty-seven seniors from Lexington High School attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) Health Career Fair to explore post-secondary options and career pathways in the healthcare industry.

During the event, students met with college admissions representatives, networked with regional healthcare organizations, and attended breakout sessions led by practicing healthcare professionals. Participants also learned about high-impact scholarship opportunities, including the Kearney Health Opportunities Program (KHOP) and specialized pre-professional healthcare pathways available through UNK and UNMC.

Providing students with hands-on exposure to higher education and industry leaders aligns with Lexington Public Schools’ commitment to preparing every student for college, career, and community success.
