Biology in Action: Students Explore Chemical Reactions Hands-On

This week, our biology students put their learning into action during a hands-on chemical reaction lab. Working in teams, they mixed different substances to observe how molecules interact and change during chemical processes. Students were able to see evidence of chemical reactions such as color changes, gas formation, and temperature shifts, bringing abstract textbook concepts to life.

The activity not only helped students understand how reactions power living systems, but also strengthened their skills in measurement, observation, and scientific reasoning. By the end of the lab, students had connected their classroom learning to real-world biological processes, making science both exciting and meaningful.
