Congratulations to Lexington Middle School students Cristian Velazquez, Jordy Guzman, and Trinity Berry for winning the VFW’s Patriot Pen essay competition!

This competition, hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), allows students to express their views on important patriotic themes, reflecting on American history, values, and their role in the future of the nation.

This year, our eighth graders wrote essays on the theme “Even the smallest acts can light the darkness,” which were submitted to our local VFW post for judging.  The awards were presented during the Veterans Day program at LMS earlier this week!
