Welcome to Morton Elementary

Morton Elementary School serves approximately 305 students in Grades K-1 in self-contained classrooms. A balanced curriculum is delivered to ALL students including High Ability Learners, English Language Learners, and Special Education students. A variety of programs and support services are available which include: speech therapy, special education, and counseling. Parents may have their child participate in the after-school Lexington Academy or after school tutoring programs. PBIS, a positive school climate/behavior plan is implemented building wide. Teachers and staff work collectively to provide an educational opportunity that reflects the diverse needs of every student and supports the District’s mission statement.

Activities

Lexington Academy (After School Program)

Lexington Academy is our afterschool program where we currently serve approximately 150 students K-5th grades. The program provides homework tutoring, nutritional snack, recreation activities and enrichment activities through our community partner organizations in Lexington.
