Our science classroom is a place where we learn about the world around us through observation, experiments, and investigation. We have recently discussed two important topics: scientific skills and motion. When learning about scientific skills, we explored how scientists ask questions, make observations, collect information, measure accurately, and draw conclusions from evidence. These skills help us solve problems and understand scientific ideas. We also learned about motion, which is the movement of an object from one place to another. We discussed how speed, distance, and time can help us describe and understand motion. Through examples and activities, we learned how objects can move at different speeds and in different directions. Science encourages people to think, ask questions, and discover how things work.
