Lexington Public Schools invites young runners across the district to participate in the Youth XC Fun Run, hosted during the Lexington Cross Country Meet at Overton Golf Course. This free community event offers future Minutemen and Minutemaids the opportunity to share the course with our Middle School and High School cross country athletes and show off their running talent.

• Event Name: Youth XC Fun Run (800-Meter Race)

• Date & Time: Thursday, Sept. 3 at 4:30 P.M.

• Location: Overton Golf Course, 75308 Road 441

• Eligibility: Open to all youth 11 years old and younger

• Admission: Free entry for all participants

What to Bring Participants should wear comfortable running shoes, athletic clothes (orange and black encouraged!), and bring a water bottle. Parents and families are encouraged to stay and cheer on all our Lexington runners throughout the afternoon.
